History/Profile
Ms. Rios has extensive experience in the upper courts with important work in the development of legal strategies, both in state and federal courts. She acts in the most relevant cases of the firm in courts both in Brasilia and in the rest of the country, by participating in hearings as well as submitting oral support. She also collaborates in national and international arbitration cases.
As a partner of Leite, Tosto e Barros, she participated in the acquisition of a telephone communication company by an international Group, by dealing with public agencies and the National Congress. She was also responsible for the strategy that resulted in a relevant precedent judged by the STJ in the banking area on the application of the Proer Law and the consequent passive illegitimacy of a financial institution.
