History/Profile
Practicing law since 2013, Maria Carolina has experience in cases of great complexity, such as Operation Lava Jato, and cases involving fraud prevention and major risks. She has participated in the implementation of compliance programs, negotiation procedures (cooperation and leniency agreements), internal investigations and administrative procedures in companies.
With experience in the civil construction, sanitation, manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, financial and hospital laundries sectors, she also provides consultancy and preventive advice to her clients. In addition, Maria Carolina has expertise in multidisciplinary cases involving public administration, environmental, corporate, tax, electoral and LGPD matters, among others.

Graduated in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP).
Post-graduate degree in General Theory of Crime from the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
