She has a vast experience in the representation before the superior courts by significantly contributing to develop legal strategies in both state and federal courts. She participates in most of the LTB’s proceedings that are in their procedural steps before the superior courts in Brasília. Also, she participates in international arbitrations.
As a partner of Leite, Tosto e Barros, she has participated in the acquisition of a telephony company by an international group by actively representing it before the public bodies and Brazilian Congress.
In the superior courts [Federal Superior Court of Appeals (STJ)], some time ago she was responsible for the change of the jurisprudence so consolidated by reversing a court decision to consolidate a jurisprudence on the non-succession of an international bank that did not succeed a domestic bank totally when it acquired it in an out-of-court liquidation. This decision directly affected the banking sector by mitigating substantial losses suffered to date.
In 2015, she was recognized as the best Brazilian lawyer in Litigation category by the International Law Office (ILO).
She is also one of the lawyers recommended by LACCA (The Latin American Corporate Counsel Association) and Chambers Latin America in Litigation category.
She held her undergraduate degree in Law at PUC/SP in 1997. Also, she took her graduate degrees in Business Law in 2001 and Civil Procedural Law in 2002 at EPM.
She is a former president of the Legal Modernization Committee at OAB/SP (Brazilian Bar Association / São Paulo Section) and a member of the Study Center for Attorney Partnerships (CESA).
